Lazy Daisy Headband Crochet Pattern

Materials:

Worsted Weight Yarn (Red Heart Shimmer)

I 5.50mm Crochet Hook

Yarn Needle

Size(s):

Teens/Adult

Difficulty:

Intermediate

Stitches:

CH: Chain- Yarn over pull through one loop.

SS: Slip stitch- Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over and pull through both the stitch and loop on the hook.

SC: Single crochet- Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through two loops.

Hdc3Tog: Half Double Crochet 3 Together- *Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over. Draw up loop.* Repeat from * to * a total of three times. Yarn over pull through all loops on the hook.

Instructions:

*Note before you begin: If the round you are working on starts with a SS make sure to work into that stitch at the end of the row!*

Chain 60.

Without twisting your chain, join the the last chain to the first chain made with a SS. If you have trouble doing this, check out this fool proof trick on How to Join Chains in the Round.

Round 1: Chain 1. Sc around. Join with a SS to the first Sc made.

Round 2: SS into the second stitch. Chain 2. *Hdc3tog. Chain 2.* Repeat from * to * all the way around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc3tog made.

Round 3-8: Repeat rounds 1-2.

Round 9: Repeat round 1.

Finish off. Weave in ends.
