Stitches:

SS: (Slip Stitch) – Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over. Pull through stitch and loop.

Ch: (Chain) – Yarn over. Pull through loop.

Sc: (Single Crochet) – Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over. Draw up loop. Yarn over. Pull through 2 loops.

Hdc: (Half Double Crochet) – Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over.  Draw up loop. Yarn over. Pull through 3 loops.

Dc: (Double Crochet) – Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over. Draw up loop. Yarn over. Pull through 2 loops. Yarn over. Pull through 2 loops.

Instructions:

Toe (Green):

Magic Ring

Round 1: 10Hdc. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (10)

Round 2: Chain 1. 2Hdc in each stitch around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (20)

Round 3: Chain 1. *2Hdc. Hdc in the next stitch.* Repeat from * to * a total of 4 x’s. Hdc around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (24)

Round 4 – 6: Chain 1. Hdc in each stitch around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (24)

Body (Red):

Round 7: Chain 2. *Dc. Sc.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Dc made. (24)

Round 8: Chain 1. *Sc. Dc.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Sc made. (24)

Round 9 – 14 (16, 18, 20): Repeat Round 7 – 8.

Heel (Green):

Row 1: Chain 1. Sc in the next 16 stitches.

Row 2: Chain 1. Sc2tog. Sc in the next 12 stitches. Sc2tog. (14)

Row 3: Chain 1. Sc2tog. Sc in the next 10 stitches. Sc2tog. (12)

Row 4: Chain 1. Sc2tog. Sc in the next 8 stitches. Sc2tog. (10)

Row 5: Chain 1. Sc2tog. Sc in the next 6 stitches. Sc2tog. (8)

Row 6: Chain 1. Sc2tog. Sc in the next 4 stitches. Sc2tog. (6)

Join with a SS to the 17th stitch of round 14 (16, 18, 20).

Round 1: Chain 2. *Dc. Sc.* Repeat from * to * over the next 8 stitches. *Dc. Sc.* Repeat from * to * across the next 16 stitches of Row 11 of heel. Join with a SS to the first Dc made. (24)

Round 2: Repeat Round 8.

Round 3 – Desired Length: Repeat Rounds 7 – 8.

Final Round: Chain 1. Hdc in each stitch around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (24)

Finish off. Weave in ends. Sew up heel.
