Lazy Daisy Headband Crochet Pattern

Lazy Daisy Headband - Free Crochet Pattern - The Lavender Chair

Materials:

Worsted Weight Yarn (Red Heart Shimmer 50 yards)

I 5.50mm Crochet Hook

Yarn Needle

Size(s):

Teens/Adult

Difficulty:

Intermediate

Stitches:

Slip Stitch (SS) – Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over. Pull through stitch and loop.

Chain (Ch) – Yarn over. Pull through loop.

Single Crochet (Sc) – Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over. Draw up loop. Yarn over. Pull through 2 loops.

Special Stitches:

Hdc3Tog: Half Double Crochet 3 Together- *Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over. Draw up loop.* Repeat from * to * a total of three times. Yarn over pull through all loops on the hook.

Notes:

  • before you begin: If the round you are working on starts with a SS make sure to work into that stitch at the end of the row!*

Instructions:

Ch 60. (increase or decrease by 3 for a smaller or larger headband)

Without twisting your chain, join the the last chain to the first chain made with a SS. If you have trouble doing this, check out this fool proof trick on How to Join Chains in the Round.

Round 1: Ch 1. Sc around. Join with a SS to the first Sc made (60).

Round 2: SS into the second stitch. Ch 2. *Hdc3tog. Chain 2.* Repeat from * to * all the way around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc3tog made.

Round 3-8: Repeat rounds 1-2.

Round 9: Repeat round 1.

Finish off. Weave in ends.
