Stitches:

CH: Chain- Yarn over pull through one loop.

SS: Slip stitch- Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over and pull through both the stitch and loop on the hook.

DC: Double crochet- Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over pull through two loops. Yarn over pull through two loops.

SC: Single crochet- Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through two loops.

HDC: Half double crochet- Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over pull through three stitches.

Instructions:

Magic Circle

Round 1: Chain 1. 9Hdc into the magic ring. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (9 Hdc)

Round 2: Chain 1. 3Hdc in each stitch around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (27 Hdc)

Round 3: Chain 1. 3Hdc in each stitch around until 3 stitch remains. 2Hdc in the last 3 stitches. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (78 Hdc)

Round 4: Chain 1. *Sc. Chain 3. skip the next 2 stitches.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Sc made.

Round 5: SS into the next chain. Chain 1. *Sc in the next chain 3 space. Chain 3. Sc in the next chain 3 space. 3Dc in the next Sc.* Repeat from * to * around.

Round 6: SS into the next chain. Chain 1. *Sc in the next chain 3 space. Chain 3. Skip the next Sc and Dc. Sc in the next Dc. Chain 3.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Sc made.

Round 7 – 28: Repeat rounds 5 – 6.

Switch to G 4.25mm Crochet hook

Round 29: Chain 1. *Hdc in the next Sc. 2Hdc in the next Chain 3 space.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made.

Finish off. Weave in ends.
