SS: (Slip Stitch) – Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over. Pull through stitch and loop.

Ch: (Chain) – Yarn over. Pull through loop.

Sc: (Single Crochet) – Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over. Draw up loop. Yarn over. Pull through 2 loops.

Dc: (Double Crochet) – Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over. Draw up loop. Yarn over. Pull through 2 loops. Yarn over. Pull through 2 loops.

Fpdc: (Front Post Double Crochet) – Yarn over. Insert hook from back to front around the stitch. Yarn over. Draw up loop. Yarn over. Pull through 2 loops. Yarn over. Pull through 2 loops.

Notes:

• Turning chain does NOT count as your first stitch (unless otherwise specified). So, when working flat, be sure to work your first stitch in the very first stitch. And when working in the round, be sure to work your first stitch in the same stitch as join.

Row 2 – 28: Chain 1. Sc in the BLO across. (12)

Join the last row to the first row with a series of SS.

Glove:

Round 1: Chain 1. Dc in the side of each cuff row around. Join with a SS to the first Dc made.(28)

Round 2: Chain 2. *FpDc. Dc.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Dc made.

Round 3: Chain 2. *Dc. FpDc.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Dc made.

Round 4 – 5: Repeat rounds 2 & 3.

Round 6: Chain 2. *FpDc. Dc.* Repeat from * to * until 4 stitches remain. FpDc. Dc. FpDc around the same stitch. Dc in the next stitch. FpDc around the same stitch. Dc in the last stitch.

Round 7: Chain 2. *Dc. FpDc.* Repeat from * to * until 6 stitches remain. Join with a SS to the first Dc made.
