J 6.00mm Crochet Hook

Yarn  Needle

Women’s Small (Medium, Large, X-Large)

Gauge:

7 Sc = 2 inches

Stitches:

SS: (Slip Stitch) – Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over. Pull through stitch and loop.

Ch: (Chain) – Yarn over. Pull through loop.

Sc: (Single Crochet) – Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over. Draw up loop. Yarn over. Pull through 2 loops.

Hdc: (Half Double Crochet) – Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over.  Draw up loop. Yarn over. Pull through 3 loops.

Dc: (Double Crochet) – Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over. Draw up loop. Yarn over. Pull through 2 loops. Yarn over. Pull through 2 loops.

Special Stitches:

V- Stitch – Dc. Chain 1. Dc in the same space.

Notes:

  • Turning chain does NOT count as your first stitch (unless otherwise specified). So, when working flat, be sure to work your first stitch in the very first stitch. And when working in the round, be sure to work your first stitch in the same stitch as join.

Instructions:

Chain 90 (96, 102, 108). Join with a SS to the first chain made. If you have trouble doing so, check out this FOOL PROOF TRICK.

Round 1: Chain 1. Sc in each stitch around. Join with a SS to the first Sc made. (90 (96, 102, 108))

Round 2: Chain 1. *Sc in the next 3 stitches.  Chain 2.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Sc made.

Round 3: Chain 1. *Sc in the next 3 stitches. Chain 1. V-stitch into the the next chain 2 space. Chain 1.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Sc made.

Round 4: SS into the next stitch. Chain 1. *Sc. chain 1. Skip the next Sc. 5Dc in the v-stitch. Chain 1. Skip the next chain and Sc.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the frist Sc made.

Round 5: SS into the next chain and the next Dc. Chain 1. *Sc in the next 5Dc stitches. Chain 2. Skip the next Chain, Sc and Chain.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Sc made.

Round 6: SS into the next stitch. Chain 1. *Sc in the next 3 stitches. Chain 1. V-stitch into the the next chain 2 space. Chain 1. Skip the next Sc.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Sc made.

Round 7 – 16: Repeat Rounds 4 – 6 ending in round 4.

Round 17: SS into the next chain and the next Dc. Chain 1. [*Sc in the next 5Dc stitches. Chain 2. Skip the next Chain, Sc and Chain.* Repeat from * to * 8(9, 10, 11) times. Sc in the next 5Dc. Chain 9. Skip the next 6 5Dc shells.] x’s. 2. Join with a SS to the first Sc made.

Round 18: SS into the next stitch. Chain 1. [*Sc in the next 3 stitches. Chain 1. V-stitch into the the next chain 2 space. Chain 1. skip the next Sc.* Repeat from * to * 8(9, 10, 11) times.
